Meanwhile, Shibazaki and Hamura visit Souta Aoki, the former welfare minister, to find out more about the Athena Project. Also, maybe they were numbered in order of age, which is why five is experiencing symptoms first. If they're all meant to be 17, I give it til they're 18 before they die. Glad this show's getting an overall good reception so far. Nine leaves their hideout and heads to retrieve the plutonium he and Twelve have hidden. Twelve and Nine escaped early, so they didnt have the drug as much as Five, so their side effect haven't kicked in yet. This version of Yuuji has all of the edge but with almost none of the annoying macho posturing. It's also good to see that the anime's going the route of retaining some of Yuuji's internal monologue, though at the same time I might enjoy this version of Yuuji more in a way since the overwhelming majority of said monologues will be cut out, which in some cases is a good thing since there were occasionally bits of his dialogue that got on my nerves. I'm including voice acting and such here not just music. Because of some small dips here and there I was wondering between that and 9/10. Then in episode 8 and 9, he chooses to go rescue Lisa from Five, despite having to betray Nine in the process. So I haven't been the most active in the Zankyou thread but here's my short review (a bit late).

A similar scenario can be said for animes. Without their interference, the worst that happens is government officials resign in disgrace and probably go to jail. But in Episode 7, he is not okay with Nine leaving Lisa to die inside the plane where the bomb is located. Im going to over generalize and say that everyone has probably drank something that wasnt their cup of tea, so instead of gulping down the whole cup, they eat the biscuits instead and forget about the tea. Considering they're basically responsible for the escalation of events that led to the nuking of Tokyo. This could actually end up being an important area in which the anime comes out superior to the VN. Took a Level in Kindness: In Episode 2, he tells Lisa that he won't hesitate to kill her if she reveals their secrets. I also think that the anime might have a more consistent sense of tone and mood than the original story does, which could oftentimes suffer from mood whiplash. (Actually, I think the BGM used at the beginning with Chizuru driving Yuuji to the school comes from Grisaia no Meikyuu, curiously enough.) I like that the episode wasn't just a play-by-play of the VN, but actually had some original material the bit where Yuuji calmly turns the wheel to avoid crashing when Principal Tachibana's freaking out is nowhere to be found in the actual novel. Can't overstate just how awesome it is to see the Grisaia characters animated, with the musical score being completely composed of songs from the Visual Novel. I'm proud of 8-Bit, this was a great episode.
